General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale ("GTCS") govern the sale of MecaVIN vehicle identification reports ("the Service") offered by MecaLIFE Group ("the Seller") on the website vin.mecalife.com and via the payment platform pay.mecalife.com. Any order implies unconditional acceptance of these GTCS.

2. Service Description

The MecaVIN report is a digital document generated from a vehicle's VIN or license plate number. It includes, depending on the data available for the vehicle concerned:

• the exact trim and trim level;
• standard equipment and the list of installed options with their original price;
• technical specifications (engine, gearbox, production date);
• paint and interior trim codes.

The content of the report depends on the information recorded by the manufacturer; certain data may not be available for some vehicles.

3. Pricing

The price of the report is tailored to the estimated value of the vehicle (model and year) and ranges from €9 to €29 including tax. The exact price is displayed before any payment. Pricing details are presented on the Pricing page.

4. Ordering and Payment

Orders are placed online: enter the VIN or license plate, then proceed to secure payment on pay.mecalife.com. Payment is due immediately upon ordering. The order is confirmed by email after payment validation.

5. Delivery

The report is digital content delivered electronically (email and/or download link), generally immediately after payment validation and within a maximum of 24 hours. If it is impossible to produce the report (VIN not found, manufacturer data unavailable), the customer will be fully refunded.

6. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content supplied immediately after the order with the express consent of the consumer and their waiver of the right of withdrawal. By validating their order, the customer requests the immediate execution of the Service and expressly waives their right of withdrawal upon delivery of the report.

7. Warranties and Liability

Reports are compiled from manufacturer databases and professional sources. The Seller guarantees the conformity of the report to the data available at the time of the order but cannot be held responsible for errors in the source data or for the use made of the report (particularly in transactions between individuals).

8. Complaints and Customer Service

Any complaints can be sent via the contact form available on mecalife.com. The Seller undertakes to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Personal Data

The data collected during the order process is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

10. Applicable Law and Disputes

These GTCS are subject to French law. In accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer may freely use a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of any dispute. Failing this, French courts shall have jurisdiction.
