Identify your car with registration the VIN code

You may find differences between your MecaVIN Reports and the codes provided on your label in the PORSCHE booklet.

Don't worry, this is quite normal because this label only includes 15 codes maximum which in only a few cases represents the totality of the codes related to options.

In addition, it is possible that some of the codes displayed on the label are part of an option "package".

Here we take the example for a Porsche 911 with the VIN WP0ZZZ99Z6S762930 :

As you can see with the three examples below, some codes provided by the manufacturer are not present on the label and some codes will not appear on the MecaVIN report compared to the label.

Here are the two missing option codes on the label: 

692 / present in the porsche software but not on the label 

P15 / It is a pack that includes the code 437 + 438 which are present in the Porsche software but not on the label under the pack code

The following codes on the label: 

C20, 026, 249, 432, 537, 575, 610 are standard equipment codes and on the MecaVIN report the standard equipment codes are not visible but you can see that they are present on the list provided by the Porsche software.

The rest of the codes provided by the Porsche software and not present on the label correspond either to standard equipment or technical information.
